A key for the seat
Requirements and setup
Community plugin by quotum. Requires Hermes >=0.21.5 and QUOTUM_SEAT_KEY. Day keys are off since 30 October 2026.
- Sign with the seat wallet on Your seat, Other apps, then copy the key. Never print or commit a key.
- Install with the command above. Keep
QUOTUM_SEAT_KEYlocally in~/.hermes/.env. - On a Hermes profile, run the lines with
hermes -p <name>and put the key in~/.hermes/profiles/<name>/.envinstead. The plugin is installed and turned on for each profile. - Send one short prompt. A reply checks the key. Run
hermes usageto see cap, spend and bell time.
Keys renew seven days before expiry. An auth error can mean renewal or revocation. Fetch a new key on Your seat and copy your config again. Bounded keys spend from the same seat allowance.
